Artist's Description

Includes coats of arms of the thirteen states encircled by their seals in the form of circular links in an unbroken chain, symbolic of the federal union. On the top the eagle and shield from the Great Seal of the United States, all surrounding a portrait of Washington. The thirteen interlinked rings are taken from a design of Benjamin Franklin used on early U.S. currency ( Fugio Cent ).

From a young age she enjoyed Geography and took interest in the customs and traditions of cultures.
